Heather Wilkerson, MSW, LCSW, RPT-S, has devoted her life to encouraging adolescents and small children to discuss the bad things that have happened to them.

While searching for ways for children to begin to express these very difficult subjects, Heather thought that perhaps an interactive workbook might do the trick.  Out of that process evolved, "My Very BRAVE Story."

She found that the outdoors, animals, art, play, sand and other creative interventions worked best when working with children, adolescents and even adults for that matter.  In 2006 she started Hope-thru-Horses, Inc.
