Destini Edens, MSW, LCSWA

I, Destini Edens, am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Associate. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Masters of Science in Social Work. I have a passion for working with children and adolescents coping with a variety of presenting problems to include trauma, developmental delays, and/or just needing to get through a specific season of life. I believe therapy should be a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking change/growth and that I can provide that through various psychotherapy interventions like play therapy and animal assisted therapy at Hope-Thru-Horses, Inc, specifically. I believe that therapy can be most beneficial when there is a strong therapeutic alliance so I focus on building a strong, authentic relationship with my clients first. I have a background ABA therapy, as well as experience working with a wide range of individuals, families, and groups dealing with mental health concerns and disabilities.
